Atlas Copco recently unveiled the new energy saving range of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) compressors at a customer meet ‘Seeing is Believing’ in Mumbai under the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative as few product ranges are manufactured in India. The new compressors have been introduced under three categories - Industrial Air Compressor, Medical Gas Solutions and Vacuum Pumps Solutions. The industrial air compressor reduces the energy costs and makes the manufacturing process more efficient. The company encourages to have a wider offering to provide the well-known VSD+ concept available up to 75 kW, which has the potential of saving up to 50% of customer’s energy cost, extended up to 110 kW. The medical gas solutions bring outstanding performance, flexible operations and high productivity, while minimising the total cost of ownership. The vacuum pumps solutions save up to 50% energy compared to the conventional vacuum technologies.
