News Dinnissen: Recovering treasure

08.06.2012

Highly viscous residual waste flows from the petrochemical industry often contains valuable pure metals such as chrome and molybdenum. Dinnissen has developed a purpose-built recovery system. A scraper unit processes the waste flow so that hard contaminants are also transformed into a homogenous material that is transported to an incinerator via a worm wheel conveyor that acts as a metering unit. While all waste products are burnt fully, the valuable pure metals remain behind. Achema 2012: hall 5, booth D17
